In addition to being an excellent source of protein snail meat is nutritious ( it is high in iron, potassium and magnesium) and highly sought after.  Due to its low calorie content with little carbohydrate and fat it is seen as a healthier alternative to other meats.

Snails are sold fresh as well as frozen. The frozen is first cleaned with organic Lime and salts before being packed in 1kg packs.

We rear the Achatina Marginata specie of Snails also referred to as the Giant West African Snail. Our Snails are reared in extensive, free range/outdoor enclosure which mirrors their natural habitat and in which they have access to organic produce and plants.
