Moor Farms was established first as an organic fish farm and remains one of the largest organic fish farms in South Eastern Nigeria. We currently breed 2 species of catfish; Hetrobranchus and Clarias, as well as Tilapia

To ensure that our organic standards are met we raise our fish from birth to adulthood ourselves and ensure that they are exposed solely to organic inputs throughout their lifecycle.

We have an in house hatchery in which we hatch the eggs and once developed, they are introduced to Grow Out ponds which are carefully calibrated, recorded and maintained to ensure optimal conditions as well as traceability.

A good proportion of our fish is charcoal oven dried to produce that authentic Nigerian dried fish that is however, hygienic, safe, healthy and very tasty with a long shelf life. These dried fish come in varying flavours, sizes and can be incorporated into traditional soups or eaten as snacks.

1kg packs: 8 to 14 pieces/ 4 to 7 pieces / 2 & 3 pieces / 1 piece.

Flavours: Plain, salt, pepper, ginger, garlic, herbs, suya, salt & pepper...

Special orders: we operate a bespoke service and cater to most requirements regarding sizes, quantities, packaging, flavourings and how dry the fish should be.

We can also accommodate special orders for fresh and dried fish for private occasions such as weddings, parties and funerals as well as for Supermarkets and the different hospitality outlets.
